B-ultrasound image analysis of sheep There are many factors that affect the conception rate of black goat ewes. Some goat farmers, due to lack of attention to scientific methods, still raise sheep with traditional methods: sheep have no sheds, feed in troughs, and do not exercise on time; corn stalks are given in bundles, and only leaves are eaten; cornmeal is diluted with water and fed, etc. This is not conducive to nutrient absorption and digestion, causing ewes to lack nutrition and affect their fertility.
In order to prevent malnutrition of ewes, full-price feed should be rationed according to individual conditions to achieve energy and protein balance. Forage and feed should be finely processed and fed on time. B-ultrasound image analysis of sheep shows pregnant ewes. Pregnant ewes should ensure protein needs and increase vitamins. In terms of management, provide ewes with a comfortable living environment, keep the pens warm in winter and cool in summer, ventilated and dry, and exercise on time.
How to use a B-ultrasound machine to see if a black goat is pregnant?
Operation method of B-ultrasound machine for sheep: in vitro exploration, in the early pregnancy, on both sides of the breast and the hairless area directly in front of the breast, or between the two breasts. In the middle and late pregnancy, it can be performed on the right abdominal wall. No hair clipping is required for exploration in the hairless area, but hair clipping is required for exploration of the lateral abdominal wall. For intrarectal exploration, after restraint, the examiner squats on one side of the sheep body, applies coupling agent locally or to the probe, and then places the probe close to the skin and scans toward the pelvic entrance. Scanning can be done from the front to the back of the breast, from both sides of the breast to the middle, or from the middle of the breast to both sides. Scan across the bladder and scan both sides. In the early pregnancy, the fetal sac is not large and the embryo is very small, so it needs to be scanned slowly and carefully to be detected. Ewes generally take a natural standing posture, with assistants supporting them.
Early embryo death after conception in black goat ewes is an important reason for the low reproductive rate. If ewes are injected with vitamin A or vitamin E 1 to 3 times after mating, good results can be achieved.
The following injection points are for reference by farmers:
1. Inject 500,000 units of vitamin A to ewes on the day of mating and 6 days after mating.
2. Inject vitamin E once on the 2nd, 6th and 12th days after mating.
3. Inject vitamin E once 15 minutes after breeding.
