Veterinary B-ultrasound has now changed from analog veterinary B-ultrasound to digital veterinary B-ultrasound. Among them, analog veterinary B-ultrasound has great defects. The processing of analog veterinary B-ultrasound signals is mostly realized by analog electronic technology. Due to its own characteristics, it has the following disadvantages:
(1) The anti-interference ability of analog veterinary B-ultrasound circuit is weak and it is easily affected by external interference. It is difficult to separate noise and signal after mixing. Moreover, the longer the circuit, the more noise accumulates and the quality decreases.
(2) The analog circuit of analog veterinary B-ultrasound has low signal processing accuracy, especially when beamforming the ultrasonic signal, the delay is difficult to adjust and the delay accuracy is poor.
(3) The flexibility of analog veterinary B-ultrasound analog signal processing is poor. When the system needs to be modified or upgraded, the required changes are too large and it is very easy to damage the performance of the original circuit.
All of these directly affect the performance of ultrasonic diagnostic equipment. It is of great practical significance to design a set of fully digital, high-performance analog veterinary B-ultrasound diagnostic equipment. The main difference between analog and digital veterinary B-ultrasound lies in the implementation of front-end beam synthesis and signal processing. The rapid development of modern semiconductor technology and computer technology, especially the rapid development of field programmable array technology, has enabled the rapid, low-cost and efficient development of high-speed digital logic circuits, high-speed digital signal processing circuits and highly integrated logic circuits, which are the main core technologies in ultrasound diagnostic equipment. Combined with the use of DSP chips, digital veterinary B-ultrasound has been created, which makes up for all the shortcomings of analog veterinary B-ultrasound and is a major advancement in the medical industry.
