The breeding rams should be grouped separately and fed throughout the year to keep them strong and energetic. The sheep with medium and upper fat have strong breeding ability and can give full play to the role of excellent breeding rams. Breeding period: The amount of concentrated feed supplemented during the breeding period should be more than that during the non-breeding period, the quality should be better, and the thickness of back fat should be observed frequently using sheep B-ultrasound.

The gestation period of ewes is 5 months, the lactation period is generally 4 months, and there is only a 3-month recovery period. The recovery period of ewes in the Northeast region is from mid-May to mid-August. Be sure to hurry up to graze so that the ewes can quickly regain their weight, and use sheep B-ultrasound to check their physical condition. This is conducive to the improvement of conception rate and twin lamb rate.

Lamb cultivation: Lambs rely on breast milk for the first two weeks after birth. If breast milk is insufficient, they can be fed artificially. For example, milk and milk powder should be heated to 60℃ before feeding, disinfected for 30 minutes, and the temperature should be between 35-39℃ during feeding. The "three fixed" should be achieved, namely, fixed time, fixed quantity, and fixed temperature. Keep clean and hygienic. During the lamb cultivation process, it is best to use Sheep B-ultrasound to observe the condition of the lamb's digestive system.

More than 10 days after the lamb is born, a feeding pen can be added to the sheep house, and a small amount of mixed feed can be put in. The condition of the lamb's digestive system can be checked by sheep B-ultrasound. At the same time, a few bundles of tender and soft legume hay are hung on the pen, allowing the lamb to eat freely. After the lamb can eat, it is changed to regular feeding. The amount of feeding is gradually increased from 100g to 250g, and 200-250g of carrots are added. The hay and silage are fed 2-3 times with the ewes to eat freely, and the digestion should be observed frequently using sheep B-ultrasound.

Starting from about one month after the lambs are born, the mother and the lambs should be grazed in separate groups. The lambs should not be grazed too far from the sheep house, and the grazing time should not be too long.
