At this time, abortion will be difficult to avoid. There is a principle for the treatment of mummified fetuses and macerated fetuses: accelerate ovulation, remove after separation, and disinfect and prevent inflammation. Accelerate ovulation, usually through prostaglandin preparations and estrogen dissolving corpus luteum and other methods to promote the dilation of the cervix of pregnant sheep, so as to make the birth canal smooth (lubricant mixed with antibiotics can be injected into the birth canal to lubricate the birth canal), which is convenient for the rapid discharge of uterine contents. Disinfection and anti-inflammation, after the contents are discharged, wash the mother animal's uterus with disinfectant or 10% saline with antibiotics, and inject some oxytocin in an appropriate amount (which is conducive to the return of the uterus and the discharge of residual fluid).
